Sorry, I’ve never lived in TN.

Thank you soo much for reading some of the anne of green gables series on librivox.org!! After listening to you I can’t bear listening to the other books in other people;s voices. Listening to these books is the first time that I have had to read/listen to these books and I’m addicted! I listen to them while I sew all day (I have a small business in my home, or I’m sewing something for someone else). If you have the time and are willing I would love it if you could record anne of windy poplars, anne of ingleside, etc. I had to skip those. If you ever went professional, I would buy the versions that you read, you’re good! thanks so much!

Unfortunately, I won’t be reading Anne of Windy Poplars or Anne of Ingleside, as they are both still in copyright, and only public domain books can be read for LibriVox. Rainbow Valley, the next to last book in the series is on my list, though.

I would like to echo Katie’s thanks! My family has enjoyed The Railway Children, The Treasure Seekers, and The Secret Garden. I know what Katie means by falling in love with a reader. I used to search for book series, now I search by reader. You are our favorite! Thanks you.
I look forward to the Anne of Green Gabels’ books some day. My six year old is insistent that we don’t read books that have sad parts, ever since Charlotte’s Web, so I’m not sure she could handle it quite yet 🙂
I will be looking for your work on Lambik’s now too. Thanks so much!

Hi Karen– I just wanted to thank you so much for your wonderful recordings of Anne of Green Gables, Anne of Avonlea, and Anne of the Island. Those books are so beautiful and they need a great reader! You certainly do it well! I saw that you are currently recording Anne’s House of Dreams. That is my favorite book and I don’t want to listen to anyone read it but you! Do you have any idea when you will be finished? I’m looking forward to it!

I vote for Emma by Jane Austen for your next librivox recording !!
